Performing at KCPA

 

Since 1969, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts has served as one of the nation's premiere educational and professional performing arts complexes. The setting for over 350 performances each year, the Krannert Center nurtures excellence and innovation in the performing arts through education, presentation, community service, and research. Krannert Center has hosted such notable figures as Yo-Yo Ma, Luciano Pavarotti,and the London Symphony Orchestra; presented world premiere works by The Builders Association and Mikel Rouse; and gained national recognition for its biennial Wall to Wall Guitar Festival and its progressive commitment to community engagement.

The 2007-2008 season kicked off with the second Wall to Wall Guitar Festival (walltowallguitar.com) and includes a rich variety of events. From the Ballet Folklorico de Mexico to the A&BC Theatre Company, from Cherryholmes to Bunraku, from Merce Cunningham to the Eroica Trio, the 07-08 season brings the best in live performance into the incredible facilities.
