Joe Thompson
Design, Technology, and Management Faculty — Visiting Assistant Professor, Theatre Technology
Prior to joining the Illinois faculty, Professor Thompson enjoyed a distinguised teaching career in Oklahoma and Texas. He has been active in the Southwest Theatre Association since 1984 and served as Chair of their Design and Technology Division for ten years. Joe has presented numerous workshops at SWTA conferences and Oklahoma KCACTF festivals. In 1998, Joe began Theatrical Solutions, a theatre company offering services in design, technology and consulting as well as marketing theatre equipment and supplies.
